Hey there,

I’m Bella and I’m not your typical nutritionist, fitness professional or wellness coach. If you’re looking for a diet, meal plan, more food rules, or an exercise plan for weight loss, you won’t find them here! 

After I had my second child, I immediately felt the pressure to “bounce back” to what society pressures us to think is the ‘ideal weight‘. This was exacerbated by my profession as there is a certain image to uphold. 

I fell into the dieting trap and got myself into some very unhealthy orthorexic behaviours. That is, until I discovered intuitive eating

It is through intuitive eating that I learnt

  • To respect my body, regardless of its shape and size.
  • To move because it makes me feel good rather than ‘burning calories’ or ‘losing weight’.
  • To nourish my body by listening to my internal body cues
  • To make peace with food and quieten down my inner critic voice
  • To take time for self-care so that I can be happy, at peace and ready to tackle life’s challenges. 

We are all unique and deserve that respect when seeking out health advice. Everyone’s perception of health is different and it really comes down to your core values and beliefs. 

My role is to help women to tune into their thoughts, emotions, belief systems and their body so they can move and nourish themselves from a place of nurturance and compassion. In turn, they develop sustainable behaviour change that boosts their energy, happiness, connection to self, and zest for life.

Seek Health with Pilates

Pilates is a movement method that is guided by 3 core principles; whole body health, whole body commitment and breath. It is a pratice that is suitable for ALL people as it is low impact and can be modified to suit your needs.

Bella.B is an Anti-Diet Nutritionist as well as an intuitive eating counsellor. She can assist you to connect with your body cues and signals so that you nourish your body and your mind. That means no dieting, no mind games and no restrictive meal plans. Just simple strategies to help you include more of the nutrient dense foods you enjoy into your life.

Creating a healthy mindset

To create a healthy mindset, you must first be aware of any thought patterns that seem negative or restrictive. Wellness coaching is an evidenced-based model that uses positive psychology, behaviour change models, and habit change models to help you better understand and manage your thoughts and behaviours. This leads to deeper social connections and a greater sense of satisfaction and enjoyment out of life.

Hi, I’m Bella.B. I believe women are so incredible and they do so much for others, but when it comes to their own health and wellbeing, they seem to put themselves last on the priority list. I do this work because I am passionate about helping women achieve the level of health and wellness they deserve. I help them to let go of the body shaming and the toxic thoughts, and to tune in to their body so they can move and nourish themselves so they feel energized, happy, connected and alive.
